Built for three decades inside the reef.

Coral Futures Corporation operates at the intersection of marine science, regulated tenure and commercial markets.

Overview

The Company

Coral Futures Corporation was established to do something the conservation sector cannot: turn coral reef stewardship into a working market. The company holds long-term legal tenure over significant Western Australian coral resources, operates under commercial debt rather than donor funding, and brings decades of in-water operational experience to every project.

The result is a product, not a cause. Buyers acquire real, tradable assets. Reefs receive structured, contracted management. Industrial operators have a credible mechanism for offsetting impact. The market closes the loop that conservation funding has never been able to close.

The Founder

Wayne McKenzie-Brown

Founder, Executive Director

Wayne McKenzie-Brown has operated in Western Australia's coral and marine industries for more than thirty years. He owns 45% of Western Australia's coral quota and has built the operational systems, regulatory relationships, and in-water expertise that underpin every Coral Futures project.

He has run successful marine businesses across that period, accumulating the intellectual property, working knowledge, and commercial discipline required to bring a structured reef product to market. Coral Futures is the consolidation of that work.
